As of May 2008, the Association had 1,103 members.
A person seeking to become a member in the Jamaican Bar Association, must be:
admitted to practise as an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica; and
of sound character

Students enrolled at the Norman Manley Law School or any of the law schools established by the Council of Legal Education are eligible to become Affiliates of the Jamaican Bar Association. Download and send in the Application Form to become an Affiliate.
