The Publications Committee is responsible for the production of the quarterly legal journal, “the Jambar Journal” for members of the Association and the wider public. Since its launch the Journal has been a trusted source of news, commentary and information on case law, legislation and changes in practice for attorneys in Jamaica.
The Journal explores a range of issues such as amendments to legislation, corporate governance, legal ethics and Caribbean jurisprudence. Additionally updates from the Bar Association and regulatory offices as well as interviews with members of the fraternity serve to ensure that the Journal provided readers with balanced and relevant information.
The Publications Committee works closely with other committees of the Jamaican Bar Association to ensure that major developments in all practice areas of the law are discussed, analysed and reported to members through the Journal.
